Matthew X. Curinga
Matt joined Adelphi in the Fall of 2010 to develop the graduate program in educational technology. He has drawn on his experience as a researcher, educator, and software engineer to create a program that prepares teachers for effective and strategic curriculum design. His research considers the political implications encoded in the design of networked software systems.
Aaron recently finished his post-doctoral work at the University of Washington on social interaction and learning through gaming media. In addition to his work in social practices and emerging technology, Aaron also has a background in Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. He is author of The Work of Play, published by Peter Lang.
Elizabeth de Freitas
Liz’s research interests include narrative, cultural studies, discourse analysis, and mathematics education. She has published articles in Educational Studies in Mathematics, The International Journal of Education and the Arts, Teaching Education, Language and Literacy, Gender and Education, The Journal of the Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies, and The Canadian Journal of Education.
